I like to compare Collages to the way a producer makes sampled beats, the way sounds and pictures can get cut up and constructed into different forms. The phrases in these collages are usually created improvised after cutting eye catching words from magazines, trying my hardest to make a form of poem of them, to me it they're like "lyrics" to go with my "beat".
